If you are interested in selling an item at auction, a good way to obtain a valuation is to submit a valuation form. Simply attach photographs of the item and a small description, and we will get back to you with an estimate.
Complimentary House Visits
We offer a complimentary house visit service, where one of our valuers will come to visit you and value your iutems in person. To request a house visit, simply fill out the contact form below.
Walk-in Valuation Service
We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm by appointment for walk-in valuations. Please remember to contact us first to schedule an appointment, so that we can ensure the right specialist is on hand to assist you.
If you are happy with the valuation, we can arrange for your items to be entered to a suitable upcoming auction. We host monthly auctions including fine art, antiques, jewellery, silver, paintings and much more.
You are welcome to bring your items to us. Please remember to schedule an appointment with us prior to bringing items in for consignment.
Alternatively, we can put you in contact with our recommended courier service Berringtons, who can collect items from you. Berringtons are able to collect and transport all items, including furniture, paintings, ceramics, glassware, silver, jewellery.
The following charges are applicable to property consigned to Wimbledon Auctions:
Vendors commission: 10%+VAT (12%) on the hammer price.
Loss and Damage charge of 1.5%+VAT (1.8%) on the hammer price.
A charge of £10+VAT (£12) is made to each lot in addition to the vendors commission, whether sold or unsold. This charge covers our specialist research, cataloguing, photography, marketing on our website and other third party sites as well as live bidding on various internet platforms.
